Fresh fish are commonly used among people and families in their local food. Fresh fish shipped in from other places is sold in areas such as urban towns where they do not have access to fishing ponds and dams. Though they have benefits accrued to them, they also have some disadvantages which to some people bring a negative impact.

In the absence of cold water showers, put them in cold water so as to increase their levels of durability. This freezing should not exceed a maximum of six months because they will be termed as old or rotten.
